Japan’s Mitsui OSK Traces (MOL) has ordered one other offshore wind farm vessel through its Taiwanese three way partnership with Ta Tong Marine.
Ta San Shang Marine (TSSM) has returned to Dutch shipbuilder Damen Shipyards for a service operation vessel (SOV) newbuilding slated for supply on the finish of 2026. No worth has been revealed.
The 87.7-m-long vessel might be inbuilt Vietnam. It’s designed to be methanol-ready and can serve offshore wind farms in Taiwan, that are set for buildout and operation within the late 2020s.
