The Stolt NYK Asia Pacific Providers (SNAPS) pool has expanded with the addition of a chemical tanker from Singapore-headquartered SU Navigation.
The 2023-built, 12,555 dwt Solar Mercury is the most recent vessel to affix the pool. Stolt Tankers mentioned that the settlement for the vessel to affix demonstrated the technique of pursuing asset-light fleet progress and enhancing each operational effectivity and profitability.
The vessel entered the SNAPS pool in early September and, in line with Stolt Tankers, adheres to robust environmental and security requirements according to the pool’s broader sustainability ambition to scale back its carbon depth by 50% relative to the 2008 baseline.
“By including tonnage from SU Navigation, a top-tier platform, Stolt Tankers reinforces its dedication to delivering superior worth in a aggressive market,” mentioned Maren Schroeder, president of Stolt Tankers.
